YOUR CRAFT IS YOUR BUSINESS.  Ever wondered how to take a craft out of the home and into the marketplace? Instructor, Trudy M. Phillips, will lead you through business planning.  She will cover all the right steps you will need to complete in order to get you up and running as an entrepreneur.  The program will provide instruction on how to manage the money, how to set up a budget, and how to market and sale your craft.

Trudy M. Phillips is an enterpreneur, small business coach, mentor, consultant, and speaker.  The founder and first director of the Central Alabama Women’s Business Center, Phillips has established two companies in the records management industry.  During her many years of experience, she has also served as a founding member and Board member of the Alabama Microenterprise Network (AMEN).  Like the Basset Hounds she rescues, she will track down the resources you need to start a business.  Food and refreshments will be provided. We will include vegetarian dishes in the choices.
